Features
What LinkLeap does, and how far along it is.
One system for the person looking for something fun to do and for the venue running it. Each part below says where it is up to, so you are not left guessing what is real.
How to read the labels
- BuiltWorking in our own testing.
- Partly builtSome of it works; the rest is on the way.
- PlannedDecided, not started.
LinkLeap is not open to the public yet, so “built” means it works in our own testing, not that you can use it today.
For guests
Find it, book it, turn up ready.
- Built
Find places near you
Browse venues by what you fancy, by name or by distance. Each venue shows its opening hours and the sessions that still have room.
- Built
Book and pay online
Pick your races and pay by card. Your seats are held while you pay, and go back if you walk away.
- Built
Bring the crew
One person books for the group and names the racers later. A seat can be passed on to the person who will actually use it.
- Built
Sign waivers on your phone
Open the waiver link, sign with your finger and walk straight to the counter. A parent or guardian signs for a child.
- Built
Rewards and gifts
Earn rewards at the places you keep going back to, and give somebody a day out as a gift.
- Partly built
One account
Your bookings, licences, waivers, wallet and past visits in one place. Editing your details is limited for now.
- Partly built
The people you book with
Keep the friends and family you go with, and ask somebody to be one of your contacts.
- Partly built
Messages that find you
Booking and waiver messages by email and in the app. Text messages are being switched on.
For venues
Run the day from one record.
The booking, the waiver, the sale and the payment are the same record from the first tap to the end of the day, instead of five tools that disagree.
- Built
Bookings and sessions
Online and counter booking against real availability, recurring sessions, and the age and eligibility rules you set.
- Built
Waivers and licences
Signed on a kiosk or on a guest's own phone. Venues in a group can share a waiver, and a lapsed one is caught at the counter.
- Built
Point of sale
Sell races and merchandise at the counter, find a paid visit and build on it, and see who is paid, signed and licensed.
- Built
Payments and refunds
Card payments online and at the counter. A refund traces back to the sale it came from.
- Built
Race control and timing
Run sessions from one screen, track the kart fleet and pit lanes, record results, and show the venue on a TV.
- Built
Memberships, rewards and parties
Membership plans and rewards that change the price when a booking is made, and party packages with a deposit now and the balance later.
- Built
Racer safety
Conduct and safety reviews that can stop a racer being assigned or checked in, informational flags, and a read-only panel for the counter.
- Built
Setting up a venue
A guided setup from a blueprint, kept as a draft and reviewed before anything goes live.
- Built
Staff roles and access
Each person sees what their job needs, and only for their own venue.
- Partly built
PlayPass wallets
A venue wallet a guest tops up and spends, with a balance that always equals its transactions.
- Partly built
Reports and audit
Every booking, payment and change is recorded with who did it and when. Day summaries work; exports are not built yet.
- Partly built
Receipts and devices
Receipts print at the counter. Support for more printers and devices is still being added.
Coming next
Decided, and not started yet.
These are on the list. They are here so you know what is coming, not because they exist.
- Planned
Places to eat
Reservations and ordering for restaurants and cafes, for the ordinary visits as well as the occasions.
- Planned
Favourites and community
Save the places you love and see what your friends are up to. What this means in detail is still being worked out.
- Planned
A phone app
The marketplace as an app on your phone, using the same account.
- Planned
Booking management for staff
A dedicated screen for venue staff to find, change and look after bookings.
